Nelson

Unfortunately, it being Good Friday, the only thing open in Nelson (NZs oldest city) was the cathedral. After a brief refreshment stop and a look round this most peaceful church, we continued on to Havelock where we again found most things closed, though we have found a very friendly campsite in this the Green lipped Mussel capital of the world - or so they claim. In the restaurants here you can have anything so long as it involves or includes mussels.
