Back to Christchurch

The weather as we crossed the last bit of the high plains (Mackenzie Country) was bright and sunny but we could see cloud spilling over the mountain range around Christchurch like a waterfall - and as we descended to the coastal plain we went through the cloud layer. In Christchurch it was overcast but dry. The forecast for the rest of the week is hot and sunny. Yippee!
