Waved goodbye to our coach tour friends them set off for the shuttle bus trundling our holdalls. The cup was late departing and the formalities took am age but we eventually sat off in our camper van at 10.30. The sun shone and we had a lovely drive to Greymouth, stopping for shopping, icecreams and sight seeing. Van is roomy and a delight to drive. Now in a beach-side camp site. Beach is 7 miles long and sandy. I can hear the surf pounding on the beach. Margaret is sitting by the van reading her book. White water rafting tomorrow!
