Cape Reinga
We travelled up the main highway which peters out into a gravel track for the last few kilometres, to Cape Reinga - the northern-most point of New Zealand. The light house is solar generated and can be seen for 50 kilometres. Here the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean rollers crash together as the 2 currents collide.
