Could not book white water rafting today either, so we continued on our way to Abel Tasman Bay. We stopped for a short break at use Mount Hope Lookout Point where we had a 360 degree they of most of the mountains on South Island - it was a beautifully sunny and clear day. Our lunch stop was by the wangapeka river where we paddled in the cold water.
